Downtown Clearlake is spearheading the creation of the Clearlake Business and Tourism Map, in partnership with the City of Clearlake’s Marketing Committee and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce. Our goal is to create a foldable map of Clearlake and surrounding area, highlighting the wonderful parks, businesses and activities on this side of the Lake.
Mission
Clearlake is amazing. It is home to a vast array of locally owned business and nestled between countless places to explore. This illustrated map will shine a spotlight on those entrepreneurs who make this area wonderful, but also show the diverse activities and opportunities nearby.
Distribution
The Business and Tourism Map will be distributed in more than 30 brochure boxes within Lake County, and other targeted locations including Official California Welcome centers across Northern California. More than 10,000 maps will be printed, putting featured businesses in the hands of high-intent visitors.
Studies have found brochures like this influence 73% of visitors who pick it up, and 4 out of 5 tourists to an area reference brochure boxes. And this interest spans all demographics, yet currently there are very few Lake County organizations or businesses taking advantage of this marketing channel.
Participation
Cost is $100 for current CLCC Chamber Members ($125 for non-chamber members). This sponsorship includes artist rendering of their business façade, Approx. 3.5” x 2” advertisement on the back (or side) of the map brochure and each participating business will receive a minimum of 10 copies for personal use/distribution.
